On Finn, qm config 103 (Console's VM ID) already shows cores: 12, but the guest OS currently only sees 8 cores.

Why: Proxmox CPU topology changes for a running VM don't hot-apply; an in-guest reboot re-enters the same running qemu process with the old topology. Only a full qm shutdown 103 && qm start 103 on Finn re-reads the VM config and applies the new core count.

How to apply: When Justin asks to bump Console's CPU allocation or asks why it's still showing 8 cores, don't touch qm config again, the config is already correct. Just schedule/confirm a full stop/start of VMID 103 on Finn. Before doing it, follow the reboot-preflight lesson (tmux socket wipe risk) since this session and all Claude Code workers live on Console itself.
