Approved email architecture (discussed 2026-05-18, not yet implemented):

  • Hub: [email protected] (Google Workspace)
  • Inbound: Cloudflare Email Routing for each brand domain, catch-all *@<brand-domain>[email protected]. Free, all domains already on CF.
  • Outbound: Gmail "Send mail as" configured for each brand address and [email protected]. Forge can send as any brand address via Gmail API from: header.
  • Sorting: Gmail filters label by destination brand (e.g. to:*@shopnovadesign.com → label nova-design).
  • Personal Gmail: [email protected] stays alive as identity/recovery/YouTube account. Auto-forward + auto-archive filter on personal. Forge never needs to touch personal Gmail directly.

Brands in scope: gusthebass.com, shopnovadesign.com, gusoutdoor.co, sipnservesociety.com, virtualrealityalliance.com.

Why: Single SA in justinwieb.com Workspace handles all brand email/calendar/drive with zero extra Workspace subscriptions ($400-600/yr saved vs per-brand Workspaces). Hub handles solo-operator multi-brand cleanly; scale to per-brand Workspace only if employees are added.

How to apply: When building email automation for any Forge brand, read/write from [email protected] hub and filter by brand label. Do not design per-brand inboxes or separate OAuth paths.
