Reference creatortrack ai chat sub2 account binding
CreatorTrack's AI chat feature reads its Claude OAuth token from ~/.claude-sub2/.credentials.json ([email protected], Max 20x) via lib/llm/claude-subscription.ts, deliberately separate from the primary [email protected] account (~/.claude) that Claude Code sessions run on.
Why: Justin set this up on purpose so CT's in-app AI chat usage wouldn't compete with his own Claude Code session quota on the primary account.
How to apply: If CT chat throws 429s, check whether the gmail sub2 account is rate-limited before assuming primary-account or code issues. The env var CLAUDE_SUB_CREDENTIALS overrides the creds path (claudeSubCredentialsPath()), so pointing it at ~/.claude/.credentials.json and restarting creatortrack-prod is a valid temporary borrow-fix, but it collapses the isolation (CT then shares the primary account's 5-hour pool with Claude Code sessions) — treat as temporary unless Justin explicitly asks to make it permanent.
