Reference ses email backbone

AWS SES is the single sending backbone for all Justin's brand newsletters and transactional email. One account, one production-access approval covers all brands.

Production access: Pending AWS review as of 2026-06-09 (case submitted; AWS asked for use-case details, replied with opt-in/bounce/unsubscribe explanation).

Engine: scripts/forge_email_engine.py — pulls segments from finance.db, generates branded campaigns, sends via SES boto3. Dry-run by default; requires --live flag for real sends.

Still needed before live sends: (1) real /unsubscribe endpoint writing to suppression table (one central forge service, token-signed, all brands route to it), (2) bounce/complaint auto-suppression via SES notifications.
